Overlord is mind blowing mayham of the like that a bunch of American paratroopers find landing in a Nazi town by mistake that takes you in a nonstop action movie that has to be seen to believe. The whole epic twists and turns every minute moving from one shocker to another in what some label “a ton of fun” but you wont have time to ponder whats just happened as the next twist hits and it does hard ......! This horror action World War II story was a pleasant surprise when I saw it in the cinema. It mixes the genres seamlessly. From the THRILLING opening, it keeps up the suspenseful atmosphere throughout. The actors all do a brilliant job. DON'T LET THE TRAILER SPOIL IT FOR YOU. This isn't a generic ‘American hero fights off Nazi zombies’ film like the trailer may imply. It is dark. It is thrilling. The ending gets a bit silly/cliche but I would definitely recommend giving this a watch if you're into anything I've mentioned above (provided you are of the appropriate age. It earns that R16 rating).
