First diagnosed with cancer in 1992, Jane made a list of goals she wanted to achieve. A recording was one of these and in the last six months of her life she perservered through her illness to see this final version realised.
Using some of her previously recorded songs from Radio NZ, Jane spent a few long evenings at Marmalade Studios, revising, remixing and adding new tracks to complete the CD Out Of View.
Mahinarangi Tocker and several Wellington musicians gave of their time and talent to help complete her dream.
Jane had no idea just how well received her music would be.
This CD is dedicated to Tommy, her 12 year old son, but to all of us it remains a legacy of Jane's remarkable creative and courageous spirit.
All profits from the sale of Out Of View go to a trust fund for Tommy's future education.
