Being in the business of generation and dissemination of knowledge, R&D organizations have to attain a balance between revenue generation and creation of knowledge advantage for clients. Based on a global study, this book argues that R&D organizations must not become market driven but must internalise the market in the organisational processes through developing partnerships with clients.
