Description

Our life's stories are written moment by moment in how we have loved, in those things we've shared, and in the way we have touched each other's hearts. It all begins with our beliefs and a happy, loving heart. For centuries, humankind has studied the nature of our existence and the phenomenon of love. Author Ed Scott examines how our consciousness determines our experiences. We bring meaning to life and our reality should be better than our dreams. There is a growing knowledge that an open, loving, happy heart will see what eyes cannot. We are meant to be happy in maximizing our human potential, and love is the ultimate answer. Ed Scott writes from experiential knowledge in a conversational style that many find compelling and inspirational. Ed is a retired military and police veteran living in northern Wisconsin.

Author Biography:

Ed Scott was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He enlisted in the U.S. military after high school and traveled to Newfoundland, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, France, Germany, and England. Extensive travel with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army gave him the opportunity to observe many cultures and interact with people of differing religions and beliefs. Upon returning to civilian life, Ed became a licensed police officer with the Minneapolis Police Department where he served for thirty-six years until retiring in 1998. During those years, he attended several different churches seeking answers for personal and spiritual growth. Ed is no longer affiliated with any particular faith or worship service. He has attended several colleges and universities across the country. For more than forty years, Ed has studied comparative religions, metaphysics, philosophy, and spirituality as they relate to human consciousness and beliefs. This search led him to become involved with the Institute for the Study of Human Awareness, where he served as president of the board for fifteen years until the year 2000. Ed has continued to be affiliated with the Institute for the Study of Human Awareness. He has also been a professional photographer, draftsman, and a licensed aircraft pilot. Ed now lives retired in northern Wisconsin. Ed Scott has authored and published several books through CreateSpace, an Amazon Group and Kindle Direct.
