I first came across this beautiful book when my 28 year old granddaughter's Kiwi friend sent her a copy here in the UK. As she read the beautiful words to her dying grandfather, I saw a smile come across his face. It was then that I realised what a poignant read this is. On the day of her beloved “Gar's” funeral, she read the book to the mourners, and, at the end, there was not a dry eye to be seen. This book is a beautiful tool when there comes time to address the end of life, be it adult or child, the words are a constant comfort.
