I would recommend this book. It's full of yummy recipes, and lots of interesting information. It's all about knowing what we're putting into our bodies. It's really well researched and not just one person's opinion. Lots of stuff in the bibliography and quotes by other food researchers. Don't forget to make the brown rice pudding recipe (yummy!). I just leave out the pistachio nuts.

So much more than just a cookbook. In general the recipes are delicious and nutricious. At the start of the book is an expalnation of why certain ingredients are used and why. Goes into lots of detail about what goes into processed food, you may not want to eat a lot of it afterwards, and why. One of my favourite cookbook/educa­tional books.
