Description

Tired of the political instability in Costaguana, Charles Gould uses the wealth he received from his silver-mining concession to support the dictator Ribiera, who he believes will provide the stability the country needs. His wealth, however, plunges the country into a new round of revolutions, bringing about chaos. Soon, an Italian expatriate, calling himself Nostromo, rises to meet one of the revolutionaries who has invaded the town he lives in. Charles Gould entrusts Nostromo with his silver, and soon begin fighting against the revolutionaries together. An incorruptible man, Nostromo soon begins to discover that money and wealth always leads to misfortune.
