When Nintendo first announced this; many, including myself, were very disappointed with the lack of 4K support. Though this still kind of bugs me, I bought it anyway as I needed a new switch and to my surprise, it's AWESOME! Now while I do say this, I also need to say right now that if you already have a switch, then look away and continue your quest of waiting for that sacred 4K switch we're all wanting, but if you do not have one.. Get this one NOW! The screen size increase is way more noticable than I expected, and the OLED quality itself is amazing, the kickstand has much better support and it just feels so much nicer in your hands than the original. Solid product – 9/10 with the 1 point deducted for lack of 4K support.

Having now owned my Switch OLED for the first week, I can say that I'm very impressed and thoroughly enjoying using it on a far too regular basis.

That screen!! Wow!

I've been using a Switch Lite for about 2 years, and that's an amazing little device, but being portable only, with a relatively small screen, it was time to upgrade now that the latest regular Switch has had the small tweaks I think it needed.

If you don't own a Switch, then the OLED model is definitely the one to get if the funds allow, and if you want the ability to play both portable and plugged into a TV. The Switch Lite is an excellent unit, and a lot cheaper, so that's the one to consider if it's more in your price range and you ONLY need portable play (and have excellent eyesight). If you already own a regular Switch, then it's a tricky to comment, as it's in portable mode using that screen and the slightly improved sound where you will see improvements.
