Your bog standard parody- a caricatured shadow of the Twilight book, and only really understood if you have read the actual book, but rather boorish if you also liked the actual book. I would only recommend it for those who have at least read the first Twilight and once finished thought it was a joke, who are open to the weird sense of humor parodies all seem to share, and are pretty bored with nothing else to read. Mostly average, but since it was lacking even the smallish amount of action and suspense provided in the Meyer books, my copy has pretty much been abandoned in a dark, damp corner to rot away…

Not a bad book-but only really worth reading if you have read the twilight books. Had me laughing throughout the book, but a lot of the jokes are dry, and would go over the head of someone who is unfamiliar with Meyer's work.

As one with a dislike for “Twilight” (Movies in particular, empty characters & lack of anything a true “Vampire” text should posess.) A parody was right up my alley, I read it… an like many parody's seem to be now-a-days. It was childish, dry an possessed any true wit. Still as it is loosely based on “Twilight” an pokes a bit of fun at it, even if executed weakly. It still had a few cheap laughs.
