Description

A woman who finds her free software does more than she bargained for, a Georgian farmer who can't bear to live without his wife, a favourite of Darius, King of Kings who goes on an impossible mission, an angel with an unusual problem, a disgraced Roman centurion and a hard-boiled detective in New York are just some of the fascinating characters you will encounter in these pages. This is Michael Anderson's new collection of short stories. As in his previous collection, Gardening By Moonlight, he takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride through the unexpected.

Author Biography:

Michael Anderson was born in Bombay (now Mumbai) in India where he grew up and went to school, travelling widely in Europe on occasional extended visits. He left India at the age of 18 and after a year at the University of Göttingen in Germany settled in London, where he has lived ever since. He has a degree in Medieval History from the University of London and has had a variety of jobs including Bollywood movie extra, fork lift truck driver, and freelance accountant. His passions are writing, history, and music, and he has several writing projects currently underway. Apart from writing, he occasionally composes classical music and plays jazz bass when the opportunity arises. This is his second collection of short stories. The first, Gardening By Moonlight, appeared as an e-book in 2011 and as a paperback in 2013. Visit Michael's website at www.michaelanderson.org
