One of my favourite movies of all time. I've watched my DVD a few times but the first time watching was the best.
In my honest opinion, if this movie was named differently it would've reached that level for a Best Picture consideration. I actually have second thought at NightCrawler as it doesn't have that certain panache for a title. Totally Entertaining as it turned out, one for the edge of your seat. I had a different sight of where the story was going, surprisingly enough this is better and that's what makes it more special because it wasn't twisted around, meaning to say it's very authentic. I actually feeling bad that this movie will end soon, it is that exciting that you wished it's made for TV series.
Nightcrawler
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work who discovers the high-speed world of L.A. crime journalism. Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling, where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents.
