Night People was recorded at Black Bird Studios in Nashville with Grammy award-winning producer Jacquire King (Kings Of Leon, James Bay), and mixed by Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath). King recorded You Me At Six live in the studio to capture the energy and emotional feel of each song.

The short and sharp track ‘Brand New’’, as well as ‘Take On The World’ were recorded with former Snow Patrol member Iain Archer.

You Me At Six entered the writing process for Night People by listing the considerable achievements they’ve notched up in their careers so far (playing Ally Pally, Wembley Arena, and The O2; 3 UK top-5 albums) to reaffirm their goals and set the benchmark moving forward. A decade into their careers, You Me At Six are now focused on becoming Britain’s biggest and best rock band.

Night People is not a reflection of what other bands are doing in rock music, but instead an attempt to make something timeless.
