Jeanne Willis is a popular children's author, with over 40 books published. Born in St Albans, she now lives in London and is married with two children. Jan Fearnley worked as a teacher and literacy advocate before becoming a full-time writer and illustrator. She was brought up in the north-east of England, the youngest of six children. She now lives in Kingston upon Thames with her husband and two cats.
