Author Biography:

BIRTE SIIM is Professor, Department of Culture and Global Studies, Aalborg University and Director of the Feminist and Gender Research Centre (FREIA) at Aalborg University, Demark.  MONIKA MOKRE is Research Fellow, Institute for Cultural Studies and History of Theatre, Austrian Academy of Sciences, Austria. She is also Chairwoman of European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies (EIPCP).
