My Sweet Audrina
Based on one of the few standalone novels written by V.C. Andrews, MY SWEET AUDRINA is a gothic psychological thriller centring on Audrina (India Eisley, The Secret Life of the American Teenager), a young girl with an inability to recall past events in her life. Living in her family's secluded mansion, Audrina is kept out of sight and alone, and is haunted by nightmares in which she dreams of her older sister, the First Audrina, who was left for dead in the woods after an attack. Everyone in the family knows the secret surrounding the First Audrina's death except Audrina herself. But as she begins to question her past and disturbing dreams haunt her nights; the grim truth is slowly revealed.
My Sweet Audrina Reviews
“Veteran television director Mike Rohl never really pulls viewers into
this macabrely cloistered setting and the look of the picture just screams
made-for-TV.”
– J.B Spins
“Be prepared for a roller coaster ride of suspense with love, regained
memories, and betrayal at every turn. This isn’t a typical Lifetime movie, but
it is expected from V.C. Andrews adaptation.”
– The Best Darn Girls
“My Sweet Audrina isn't going to attract fair-weather fans of V.C.
Andrews, and it will probably confuse people who don't know anything about her
books. But as an adaptation of a novel I loved as a child, it made me
ridiculously happy for an hour and a half. And what more can you ask of a
Lifetime movie?”
