Author Biography:

Rebecca Migdal is an independent museum professional based in Waltham, MA. She offers collections research and interpretive writing among other services to clients of all kinds – anyone trying to tell great stories about objects and ideas. She specializes in American art and material culture, but works on many topics, from literature to the technology of sound. A graduate of the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture, Rebecca also holds a certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Delaware, and is experienced with both object-based and media-based exhibits. She also serves on the Waltham Historical Commission in Waltham, MA, indulging in a richer understanding of local history and the built environment. Rebecca is always in search of projects that help people better understand the objects in their care and tell better stories with those objects.
