It's a lot larger than I had anticipated, but that is good as plenty of water for multiple dogs or longer hikes. The bowl is large enough for a bigger dog, but my tiny puppy has no problem drinking from it. The mechanism works well at both releasing water and returning the water to the enclosure. The treat dispenser isn't the most convenient to use, but it can also be removed and not used. The bag dispenser works well. My only real complaint is there is no easy way to clip it to a bag or belt. There is a small loop at the bowl end but it isn't well placed, and is annoying when the dogs are drinking. But that is a small complaint for a well priced bottle.
