The only thing that can make life better is a puppy; at least that's what 8-year-old Summer thinks. Puppies aren't that hard to take care of and train. Besides, almost everyone she knows has a dog. Summer convinces her mom that she is ready for a puppy and together they go look for a pet. It doesn't take long to find the perfect puppy; at least the puppy seems perfect. Summer is in for a big surprise because just minutes after getting her new puppy home everything goes crazy.
