Following a compelling phone call from an old friend, cryptozoologist Wolfgang Kilmer makes his way to the mountains of Colorado. Upon arrival, Wolf discovers that a strange, shape-shifting creature may be creating havoc at the peaceful Eleven Mile Reservoir. Tales told of a walking monster going back nearly sixty years pique the cryptozoologist's curiosity. Strange incidents soon transpire, spelling danger and eventually turn into murder. Wolf and his retired detective friend Harry seek to unearth the terrible truth behind the killings, with the help of a grizzled mountain man and a determined fire watch tower lookout. There are secrets to be discovered, but no without great risk.
