Our beloved cats inspire all sorts of emotions in us. They drive us crazy with their unending demands and mind games. They cause us to erupt in anger at the household damage they cause. They appall us with their heartless tormenting of simpler creatures. They disgust us by sticking their noses and mouths . . . well, everywhere. Yet, we love them to distraction. So much so, that we could write volumes of poetic homage to our furry little gods and goddesses.
