Monsterz is a 2014 Japanese fantasy horror thriller film directed by Hideo Nakata. It is a remake of the 2010 South Korean film Haunters.
An unnamed man discovers he has the ability to manipulate others with his eyes. When he uses his affliction to kill his abusive father, he is abandoned by his mother and cast out into the street.
He now lives a lonely life on the dark side of the city. But when he crosses paths with Shuichi Tanaka by chance, he comes face to face with the one person he cannot manipulate. An epic battle begins here, but who will survive?
