Description

As flagship planes take off heading to their destinations around the world, we wonder, 'Where are they going?' In this book, as they watch planes taking off from the airport, a mother delights her child in discovering various countries' cultures, locations, and even how to say "Hello" in the native languages!

Author Biography:

Kimberly Graziano, born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina, holds a BA in History and a MA in Teaching. She was a flight attendant for Pan Am where she traveled around the world and enjoyed observing different cultures. "Watching planes take off is always exciting," says Kim. "I always wonder where they are going." Now, she again resides in the mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband and son. The illustrator, Miss Grayson Sloan, is a student at a private girls school in North Carolina.
