Description

The Mind Workout Book shows you how to develop a powerful and effective mind. Students can improve their grades and workers their career prospects with easy-to-learn techniques and exercises that take little time. At the beginning a self-assessment questionnaire enables you to identify the area where you are weakest. Then it's a simply a matter of following the different icons that flag each of the 150 questions. Each exercise is graded, indicating time to take and level of difficulty and which area of the mind you're working out. There are "help" panels throughout the book, which wimps can refer to when the going gets tough and masochists can conceal with the extended flaps.

Author Biography

Robert Allen, Director of Mensa Psychometrics - a company that provided psychometric services to members of the high IQ society. Robert has written a number of books in the field of popular psychology and is currently CEO of the Mensa Foundation for Gifted Children. Robert lives in Cambridge.
