I’ve used a Japanese rice cooker for 15 years until it finally broke! So I was on the hunt for a new one, I bought Midea because my fridge and washing machine are the same brand and they work fine. Yes, this one keeps warm for 12 hours, but not warm enough, at least for me. Once you open the lid, water floods the perimeter, so I wipe that off, no problem. But what it does to the rice is it becomes soggy after 3 hours, the water drips on the rice from the lid, and makes it super wet that once the keep warm setting turns off (or you turn it off), the rice becomes RANCID in a short amount of time. I don’t recommend.
