I was looking forward to getting one of these, the “crystal clear audio”, and “remarkable clarity” for the microphone sounded very good.

Upon getting it though, it was less than impressive. Getting the headset and the base unit paired is a hit or miss affair, and once you do the audio quality is on a par with my 10 year old telephone. My Skype contacts are reporting that I sound flat and my voice drops in and out on every other word; I tried my $13 boom mic and they reported the clarity was superb in comparison.

Also you either need to shout or have the volume cranked right up on the microphone for them to hear you, and if the volume is loud, then it picks up a hum too.
