Matthew Smith is no stranger to the Ne w Zealand music scene having performed as front man for rock n roll outfit Von Voin Strum from 2011 – 2016.
Hailing from Ashburton in Canterbury, Matthew has been writing songs and playing guitar from the age of thirteen. His influences are wide and varied from Bright Eyes to Father John Misty. His blend of Indie folk and a lt country are showcased with a beautiful soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting.
