The first commercially-made marshmallows originated in France around 1800, when candy makers discovered that whipping together sugar and egg whites, along with sap from the mallow plant, produced a delectable treat. Then, in 1927, the Girl Scouts invented S'mores, and the rest is history! Here's the thing, though - have you ever thought that marshmallows could be used in ways other than eating straight out of the bag or toasting over a campfire? Probably not, but the fact is that marshmallows are very versatile, and can be used in a number of interesting ways. In this book, you'll find 30 different marshmallow recipes.
