Mamoru (White Ver.) – Model Kit

The unique and stylish MAMORU is now available as a plastic model kit from Kotobukiya! Created by the up-and-coming modeling artist MiZ (Koki Mizuno), MAMORU is a security robot, selected as a presentation item for the 36th Wonder Showcase and now released as a model kit with a significantly updated design!

In the year 2060 AD, MAMORU is the latest security robot released by the advanced company ATARASY. MAMORU was developed to deal with crimes involving robots and androids and has extremely high specs compared to other ATARASY products. Equipped with a state-of-the-art high-performance motor, it has high mobility and power and is designed to be sturdy enough for all kinds of tasks. In addition to being able to equip hard points and arms with various options, MAMORU can also use the sub-arm unit to perform detailed movements that cannot be handled by the main arm. Due to its high performance and scalability, MAMORU has been customized beyond the category of security robots and is used by rescue teams, police, and the military. MAMORU can be custom-made according to its intended purpose; white is the image color of ATARASY and MAMORU's basic co­lor.

This model kit from Kotobukiya builds into a full-action model with 55 points of articulation for full posability! The internal frame is completely reproduced, and all exterior parts can be removed. It can transform from the compact “normal mode” to the “work mode.” The head can be built as the “normal type” or the “enhanced sensor-equipped type.” You can also build it as its “Eliminator Mode” in which the Enhanced Sensor-Equipped Type head is reversed. Hidden gimmick sub-arm units can be deployed from both sides of the body; you can remove the main arm unit from the main body to use its mounting hole to mount optional units with a 3mm diameter joint. A 3mm diameter hole at the bottom of the main unit allows it to be used with the New Flying Base (sold separately), and you can also customize it with parts from the “M.S.G,” “Frame Arms,” “Frame Arms Girl” and “Hexa Gear” series.
