First off: where is Sultans and Money for Nothing? I know they weren't fantastic versions at this concert, but why cut them from the DVD version altogether, when they were there on the VHS concert?
You can tell this DVD (and On the Night) has been put together very quickly – no 5.1, absolutely no extras. That's a bit of a shame, but the concert is the main thing. Mark is playing well, as usual. You can tell he prefers his subdued songs over the louder ones – Walk of Life, for example, sounds a little bit flat. Overall, this could have been a lot better, but for Knopfler fans, it should still be an essential purchase – just don't expect too much.
