This is a little collection of poems that have been wandering around in my head for a few years. It was time to set them free. They touch on a fairly wide range of people, places, and a variety of emotions. When you have read them you will know that I am addicted to beauty and simplicity and that I am a loyal and true romantic Irishman. I chose the title 'Lyrical Ireland' for two reasons; to show my love for all things Irish and my passion for simple, lyrical rhyme. To me, poetry is all about the words, the voice and the message, all crafted in simplicity and adorned in rhyme. I hope you enjoy this little gift from 'The Emerald Isle.'

Author Biography:

Paddy Cummins is an Irish author of fifteen books. His four novels are best sellers on Amazon. His two travel books are multiple number ones and his epic sea book is now a major film. 'Yoke the Pony' is his childhood memoir and 'The Long Road' is his autobiography. His new novel: 'Dark Secrets' has just been published worldwide. He lives in Ireland during the summer months and in Malta during winter.
