Author Biography

Lucy Cousins has a BA Honours in Graphic Design from Canterbury College and a postgraduate degree from Royal College of Art and is one of today's most acclaimed author-illustrators of children's books. In 1997 she won the Bologna Ragazzi Non-fiction Prize and was Highly Commended for the National Art Illustration Award. In 2002 she won the Smarties Book Prize. Lucy lives in Hampshire.
