Author Biography
Love Is- began as shy love notes from Kim Kasasli to her future husband Roberto. They first appeared in the Los Angeles Times in 1970 and were soon being syndicated in 50 countries around the world. They are as much a classic symbol of the 70s as Smiley badges. The simple, broad appeal of the strip continued to be loved throughout the 80s and 90s and still runs daily in 34 countries.
