"Fun time-killer with friends"

We found the game easy to play even with a group of six players that had never seen it before. We liked the fact that there were a range of ‘restaurants’ to choose from and that each of these had a ‘special rule’. It took a few extra minutes to change restaurants at the end of each shift but it was worth the extra novelty factor. The competitive scoring kept us interested and meant that we probably would have played beyond the recommended 4 shifts if we hadn't been called away.

We did find that the leaderboard didn't change hugely after the first shift but we would need to play a few more times to decide if house rules were required to mitigate this.

Overall, we found it to be a fun and easy game that helped kill time over a lunchbreak.

Description

Game Synopsis: Lord of the Fries is a thematic sequel to Give Me The Brain!. It takes place at the same restaurant, has the same cast of characters, and requires roughly the same equipment. But the game is entirely different.
Players choose orders (sometimes randomly, sometime not) from the figuratively colorful Friedey's menu, and try to fill them with cards from their hands. Some orders are easy, like the Cowabunga. One Cow Meat, one Bun. Some are a little harder, like the Chickabunga Conga: same as a Chickabunga (Bird Meat plus Bun), plus Fries and a Drink. Sound easy- Now try your hand at a Lord of the Fries, a Meat Munch, or the infamous Patriarch (Fish Meat, Cheese, Bun, Fries, Drink, and the oft-maligned Strawberry Pie).

You Need to provide:  One 6-sided die
