Description

Loco is a finely written and highly intelligent novel narrating the bizarre adventures of Otto, a wealthy man of leisure who loves to travel, for ever philosophising on life and the human condition form his own zany and idiosyncratic viewpoint. His wanderings eventually lead him to the barren wastes of northern Scotland - where Otto finally goes totally and hilariously 'loco'. This is an intriguing and often highly amusing study of rampant eccentricity observed with an indulgent and sympathetic eye.
