An absolutely beautiful, perfect remake. (… As a remake, I should note. This game still has some of its 90s design sense as a remake of a SNES game from 1994.) However if you come into it aware of this and can look past it, you will find a game whose remake team clearly poured heart and soul into the visuals, music, and all the little flourishes.
