Author Biography
Susan Mitchell graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in drawing and painting and in 1994 she emigrated to Montreal, Canada, where she now lives with her husband, children's author P.J. Bracegirdle and son, Ewan. A widely published illustrator of children's picture books, Susan began making her "little poppets" as a hobby in the evenings but has now seen them brought to life in their very own series, about which she is delighted! Paula Metcalf is a hugely talented picture book creator who was Highly Commended in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2003.
