Little Armory LASW04: Strike Witches: Road to Berlin: 1/12 Bren Light Machine Gun Mk.1 – Model Kit

Tomytec's “Little Armory” lineup of elaborate miniature firearms brings us the Bren light machine gun Mk.1 from the TV anime “501st Joint Fighter Wing Strike Witches ROAD to BERLIN”!

This is the weapon used by Perrine Closterman of the Free Gallic Air Force. Tomytec conducted interviews with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Weapons School for the design of this model. In addition to modeling the gun itself accurately, they also make sure to recreate its specifications from the anime, such as the omitted bipod. Michio Sato provided illustrations for the packaging and illustration card; on the back of the illustration card is a newly written commentary on firearms written by Takaaki Suzuki, who is responsible for the worldview and military history in the anime The illustration card can be used to display the model by combining it with the included clear card. This kit has been designed and its parts divided with reality in mind; the unique shape of the Witch model of the gun minus its bipod is carefully reproduced. The wood and iron are expressed with two molding colors, and details such as the dial-type sight and magazine dust cover are also precisely duplicated. You can select the angle of the carrying handle to reflect the scene where Perrine uses the carrying handle as a foregrip! And to reproduce the folding cocking lever unique to the Bren, two types of cocking levers are included.
