Little Armory: LD035: 1/12 81mm Mortar M252 Type – Model Kit

The M252 type mortar can shoot powerful grenades with a light and simple structure.

This heavy weapon operates as infantry equipment and provides close-range fire support to frontline combat units. The M252 is a U.S. military model of the medium-caliber 81mm mortar L16 adopted by the British Army and the Japan Self-Defense Forces and features a blast-damping device added to the muzzle. It has the ability to project a shell with an effective radius of 35 meters from a minimum of 100 meters to a maximum of 5,600 meters.

The mortar body with movable legs and sight, 81mm shell, and shell case are all included. Two types of new parts are included: the M61A1 sight and the mobile terminals M23MBC and M32MBC, equipped by the U.S. military for accurate landing calculation.
