Author Biography

Kaye Umansky is that rare thing - a truly funny writer who taps directly into children's imaginations. A & C Black published her first novel, Pongwiffy, back in 1988 when it shot into the children's bestseller lists and was made into a TV series. Since then she has written countless books, peoms and playscripts for all ages and her reputation has gone from strength to strength.
