Some say that I am an anointed and gifted communicator whose words share the depths of God's love, to the young and old. I don't know about all that. I just see myself as an ordinary girl who met an extraordinary Savior, Jesus Christ and fell in deeply in love with Him. There is nothing spectacular about this old girl other than Jesus Christ. The passage of Isaiah 53 is the scripture that brought me to faith in a God that will not let me go. Just as I am, was the one song I hated most, until the moment I placed my life in His nail-scarred hand. Now, it is my theme song. When I was lost and undone, Jesus gave His all for me. The fact that He took me just as I was and continues to take me as I am, thrills and amazes me to no end. What manner of love is this that sees all of me, yet still pursues me. Over 20 years ago, I met my "Michael," the man I love and adore. We have served side by side as he pastors my home church in Conway, SC. Other than my salvation, he is the greatest gift I have ever received. We have one beautiful and talented daughter, who teaches us more than we teach her. Along with writing, I also enjoy teaching God's Word and work as Ministry Assistant to the Carolina Baptist Association. I am living proof that little is much in God's hands.
