Catholic schools continue to be a dominant force in the Australian education system. Leadership in Catholic Education is a multi-authored book that explores the key issues faced by Catholic schools in the context of modern Australian society. Some of the issues are ongoing and particularly relevant to the Catholic context, such as the role of Catholic identity, and government funding for religious schools. Some issues are more immediate and the authors explore a contemporary understanding of leadership in the Catholic context, and reflect on the spiritual dimension of the Catholic school.
