An induction cooktop at this price is just too good to be true, and in a way, it actually IS that good. The cooktop works well, and looks really slick. We are very happy with it so far. The controls respond well and are straightforward to use. The only reason we are discounting one star from the rating is because all the elements are the same size. This is fine for medium and small pots/pants/skillets. But specifically for the all purpose 27cm+ steel frying pan that everyone who cooks everyday uses all the time, the user experience suffers. Big pans will not heat evenly, as the elements are too small, and because of how induction works, there is not enough time for radiation to evenly warm the tool. It's a small price to pay to get such an affordable piece of tech in the house. This allowed us to finally remove the damn gas stoves from our kitchen, which are dangerous, really bad for our health and super expensive for us, as we live rural and depend on gas bottle delivery. In short, happy with it. Definitely recommend. And we always recommend Mighty Ape to friends and family because prices are good and we've always had good experiences with their customer service team.
