"Incredibly weak USBC port"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

USBC port has no internal bracing so a fall from your bed at the wrong angle can render this device bricked in a second

"Bricked after powering a 65W soldering iron for more 30 mins."
1 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

During a project of mine I attempted to power up a soldering iron after turning it off. The USBC power delivery on the power bank responded by delivering 5V of power, not 20V at ~65W of power as indicated on the soldering iron itself. I should state that the soldering iron does not draw a high enough amount of power to even generate heat from the power bank.

After unplugging everything I attempted to turn off the power bank but it started blinking the indicator lights instead. No longer outputting power from the USBC port. It no longer charges either. There is a slight warmth emanating from the USBC port which could indicate a short. However, no physical damage was done incidentally on my part that wouldn't have been very clear, such as dropping it or even unplugging it incorrectly.

I used a high current USBC cable that seemed fine with powering an old laptop that drew 89W, and a variable power supply limited to 35W.

I'm not quite sure what to do. The power bank seemed reliable but is now a worthless paperweight.
