In my opinion , this is better than a kindle. You can borrow library books with a kobo, you can't with a kindle. There are so many free books to choose from the kobo website. I also love the fact that I can read in the bath. I only have to charge it once a week – I read about 2 hrs everyday.
After being a Kindle user for years through several iterations of Paperwhites, I switched to a Kobo Clara HD, and loved it.
