Kaushalesh Lal is Professor at the Society for Development Studies, New Delhi and a Professorial Fellow at United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT), Maastricht. Shampa Paul is Associate Professor at the Society for Development Studies, New Delhi.
