Author Biography

Brian Clegg, consultant editor, read Natural Sciences, focusing on experimental physics, at Cambridge University. He has written for Nature, The Times, and the Wall Street Journal and lectured at Oxford, Cambridge, and the Royal Institution. He is editor of the book review site www.popularscience.co.uk, and his publications include A Brief History of Infinity and How to Build a Time Machine.Professor Jim Al-Khalili OBE is a physicist, author, and broadcaster based at the University of Surrey. He received his PhD in theoretical nuclear physics in 1989, and has published over a hundred research papers on quantum physics. His many popular science books have been translated into twenty-six languages. He is a recipient of the Royal Society Michael Faraday medal and the Institute of Physics Kelvin Medal. Jim is a regular contributor to radio and television science programs. In 2016, he received the inaugural Stephen Hawking medal for science communication.
