Description

Look into the eyes of the most dangerous and frightening animals of the wild. There are animals in the wild that we, rightly or wrongly, perceive to be particularly fearsome and deadly. New in paperback, the Killer Creatures series looks closely at these animals; where they live, what they eat and how they act to show how our perceptions of these creatures may or may not be justified. * High interest level books, excellent for older, less able readers. * Fascinating fact boxes contain a wealth of further information. * Includes interesting and fun projects allow children to learn more about how the jaws of an alligator or the fins of a shark work, at home or at school. * Striking full-colour illustrations and clear maps and diagrams draw the reader into the world of the animals. * Each book contains a table of contents, list of useful words and an index.
