Its a good idea to have all these connections in one, but there are some flaws here. Once the cable splits from the PS2 into RCA and RGB connectors, the cable is VERY thin. Very little insulation is provided for these cables, making them very receptive to interference. The lack of insulation pretty much makes the component video connectors (RGB – they are there but not on the picture above @ 10 Feb 07) irrelevant.
However, the S-Video plug makes it all worthwhile, as this plug provides a huge increase in quality over the RCA connectors.
