Description

The global pandemic has called us all to ask fundamental questions about our lives and the prospect for peace in this challenging yet hopeful decade. This is a story about a journey and champions of peace in India and Nepal, Korea, East Africa, S.E. and N.E. Asia and across the United States. It is also a story about our inner journeys and hope-filled discoveries within and how they can be applied to today's challenges. It beckons us to share divine Peace across the human family through acts of love, service and prayer to comfort God, humanity and Creation.

Author Biography:

David L. Caprara has served in senior capacities at the national and international levels at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Corporation for National and Community Service and Global Peace Foundation. His international service afforded him cherished opportunities to travel extensively, promoting service and peacebuilding initiatives in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He previously served as a nonresident fellow with the Brookings Institution and was a co-founding board member of the Building Bridges Coalition. He loves to climb mountains, from the Himalayas in Nepal to the Blue Ridge in his home of Virginia, and he is grateful for the opportunity to pursue the yoga of peace, meditation and service together with Collette, his beloved wife and spiritual partner of over forty years.
