Comic book anti-heroes always leave me wondering if the directors or writers of movies have done enough to wet ones appetite for destruction. With Jonah Hex, if you've read and followed the DC-Comics, there's always something mysterious and spooky about the character. He's done some inhumane things and for some reason there's a struggle for redemption as he tries to find the murderer of his wife and son. Its a fast-paced movie that's a bit too fast at times and its easy to lose the plot at times. Not sure why the Crow Indians keep trying to keep him alive. Seems a bit odd for Native American Indians. If we had more background of how he came to wed a Native American Indian, but somehow the most crucial aspect of motivation for revenge got lost. If you like loads of explosions this will be for you. As for an actual story, it moves along too fast to have one. Wish there was more of Megan Fox sassiness in the story. She's capable of so much more than just looking pretty and playing a tough talking lady of the night. The line between good guys and bad guys is a dark grey as there are none in this movie.
